Walking in God’s Will Daily

 “Step by Step”

Kemar always wanted clarity about his future. “God, just show me the full plan,” he would pray. But no matter how much he asked, the answers never came all at once.

One morning, while walking to work, he noticed something simple; the streetlights ahead only lit a short distance at a time. Yet that small light was enough to guide each step safely forward.

That moment stayed with him.

Instead of waiting for a full blueprint of his life, Kemar decided to focus on daily obedience. He prayed each morning, “Lord, guide my steps today.” He chose honesty in small decisions, kindness in difficult moments, and faith even when things didn’t make sense.

Over time, he looked back and realized something powerful: God had been leading him all along, not by showing the whole path, but by guiding each step.

Moral Lesson

Walking in God’s will is not about knowing everything in advance…it’s about trusting God daily. Many people delay obedience because they are waiting for complete clarity, but God often reveals His will one step at a time.

Daily surrender, daily prayer, and daily obedience position us to follow His direction. It’s in the small, consistent choices that we align ourselves with His greater purpose.

God’s will is less about a single big decision and more about a lifestyle of walking closely with Him.

When we walk with God daily:

  • We become more sensitive to His guidance
  • We grow in faith and trust
  • We reflect His character in our everyday lives
