NOAH’S ARK
Once upon a time, in a land filled with wickedness and corruption, there lived a man named Noah. He was a righteous man, and he walked with God. One day, God spoke to Noah and told him of the coming flood that would wipe out all living things from the face of the earth. However, God promised Noah that he and his family would be saved.
God instructed Noah to build a massive ark, a great ship that would be able to withstand the floodwaters. The ark was to be built of gopher wood, and it was to be 300 cubits long, 50 cubits wide, and 30 cubits high. God also instructed Noah to bring a pair of every kind of animal, male and female, onto the ark, along with enough food to sustain them for the duration of the flood.
Noah and his sons began to build the ark, much to the confusion and ridicule of their neighbors. But they persevered, and soon the ark began to take shape. It took them many long years to build the massive vessel, but finally, it was complete.
As the floodwaters began to rise, the animals began to make their way onto the ark. The elephants, the lions, the zebras, and the monkeys all marched in pairs up the ramp and into the safety of the ark. And then, finally, it was time for Noah and his family to board the ark as well.
Once everyone was safely aboard, the rain began to pour down from the sky, and the floodwaters rose higher and higher. But the ark remained safe and secure, floating on the surface of the water.
For forty long days and forty long nights, the rain continued to pour down. The ark was tossed and turned by the waves, but it remained steadfast. And then, finally, the rain stopped, and the floodwaters began to recede.
After many more months, the ark came to rest on the top of a mountain. Noah opened the door and released all the animals, who ran out onto the dry land. And then, Noah and his family stepped out onto the mountain, taking their first steps on the new earth.
And so, Noah and his family repopulated the earth, and the animals flourished once again. The story of Noah’s Ark became a legend, a testament to the power of faith and the enduring spirit of humanity.
