The story of Jesus and the woman with the issue of blood is a well-known narrative in the Bible, found in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke. According to the account, a woman who had been suffering from a bleeding condition for twelve years came to Jesus seeking healing.

The woman had heard about Jesus and his miraculous healing powers, and she believed that if she could just touch the hem of his garment, she would be healed. So she made her way through the crowds that had gathered around Jesus, and when she was close enough, she reached out and touched the edge of his cloak.

Immediately, the woman felt a change in her body. The bleeding stopped, and she knew that she had been healed. But Jesus also felt something, and he turned to the crowd and asked, “Who touched me?”

The disciples were confused because there were many people pressing in on Jesus, but Jesus persisted, saying that he had felt power go out from him. Finally, the woman came forward, trembling with fear, and told Jesus what had happened.

Jesus looked at her with compassion and said, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.” And with those words, the woman knew that she had been not only physically healed but also spiritually restored. This story is often cited as an example of the power of faith and the compassion of Jesus. The woman with the issue of blood had suffered for twelve long years and had spent all of her money seeking medical help, but it was only when she put her faith in Jesus that she found true healing. And Jesus, in turn, showed her kindness and understanding, recognizing her suffering and acknowledging her courage.
